Quilt Coat Workshop

Bring a Quilt and Leave with a Coat

Quilt Coat Workshop
7.5 hours
Max 6 students
Level 1, 39–43 Shepherd St, Marrickville

Join Lorena Uriarte, renowned Modern Quilter, and transform a quilt into a beautifully wearable coat.

Day One: Sunday 14 June – 9am–4:30pm Day Two: Sunday 21 June – 9am–4:30pm

It’s never been more on trend to sport a quilted coat — so let’s go for it. Pull a quilt off the bed, rescue one from the cupboard, or take this as the perfect excuse to make another. Either way, you’ll leave with a completely unique statement piece.

Not only will you create a stunning coat, but you’ll also learn valuable techniques for working with heavy quilted fabric and coat construction. It’s creative, practical and completely one of a kind.

This workshop runs over two full Sundays to allow proper time for construction and finishing.
