Big Hands, Little Hands Learn to Sew
BeginnerSome things are just better done together.
Big Hands, Little Hands is a very special four-hour class designed for a parent and child to learn to sew side by side — no experience needed, just a sense of adventure and a willingness to have a go. You'll learn how to use a sewing machine, practise the basics, and finish the class with a handmade drawstring bag you made together.
It's the kind of afternoon you'll both remember.
Mums, Dads, grandparents and carers are absolutely welcome — this is for any grown-up who wants to share the joy of making with a child they love.
$250 per pair (one adult and one child)

Sewing is my jam — I started at 9 and never stopped. Usefulbox began helping people use their “in the box” machines. I love seeing students feel proud. Sewing is my creative outlet, and I believe it supports mental health — it’s helped me through life’s highs and lows.
